She has an MA in Drawing from Kingston University. Before arriving in Bahrain in September, 2005, she taught drawing at Kingston University, and ran very popular creativity, drawing and painting courses for adults. The photo above shows Seana with the beginnings of the 16' long mural for the Malden Centre, New Malden, England, entitled "Mer-Angel". commemorating the work of a respected and loved swimming teacher, Sandy. Completed April, 2005.
The image at top right is called "1.5BD" or $4. It was part of "a Beautiful Mess" at the Al Riwaq Gallery in July 2009, and is an ephemeral piece painted directly on the wall. It is of a schoolgirl named Faith in the Jangwani slum in Nairobi. Every day she gets a big lunch and she is so grateful for it.
It costs $4 A MONTH to feed Faith. That's what I spend on one skinny iced latte!

'Visions"
an exhibition of Artists from the AWA at the Bahrain Art Centre, in May, 2009. The three central pieces were inspired by a recent trip to Kerala. The sunflowers and the musician are two subjects that have been a source of inspiration to me for many years.
