If you're coming from Manama, you can use Sitra Causeway, and basically go straight till you come to the Awali roundabout, turning left into Awali.

Coming from Sar and Budaiya, head south to the Riffa Clocktower roundabout,( where Sheikh Salman Highway meets Wali al Ahd Hughway, close to all the royal palaces) and turn right at that roundabout. (I think it's marked for the Riffa Golf Course.) Then go straight for some distance,, past the grand residences, down the hill, across a bit of desert and straight into Awali.
