Inspired by Life A 3 Day Intensive Painting and Drawing Workshop Exploring the Human Form Dec. 6, 7 and 8 9.00am -3.30pm
An invaluable opportunity for artists of all levels. Develop your painting and drawing skills, produce work for your portfolios and learn new experimental approaches to the time honoured artistic tradition of drawing the human figure.
We will work from clothed life models in a wide variety of media, ranging from graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil and ink to acrylic on canvas on the final day. Through a variety of approaches, including gesture contour drawing, portraiture we will explore line, form, tone, and, volume There is simply nothing like the discipline of the “life class” to exercise your mind, stretch your imagination and open your artist’s eye, and you will create work that will amaze you!
All materials and a simple lunch, coffees, teas and biscuits are provided.
The cost for 3 days is BD 125, which includes the cost of ALL MATERIALS, the models’ fees and a light lunch, coffees, teas and snacks. If you can only attend one or two days, the daily rate is 50BD.
This is the first time in Bahrain that there has been an opportunity for artists to really focus their attention for three days and release their creativity, inspired by the human form and guided by an experienced and empowering teacher.
