The Bahrain International Garden Show 2006
The first time that the Awali Artists exhibited their work together was on the invitation of Sheikha Maisa at the Bahrain International Garden Show (BIGS).
It was a wonderful experience for the three of us, Sylvia Bell, Meriel Cooper-Wallace and Seana Mallen. who showed watercolour paintings of flowers and gardens.
We were honoured by visits from Her Highness,Sheikha Sabeeka, the patron of BIGS, and Sheikha Tajba.
As well as our royal visitors, we enjoyed meeting Bahraini artists, gardeners, and lots of brilliant children!
